Radicchio Grilled With A Twist

Radicchio is a vegetable that not everyone in the US will use but it's simple to make, delicious to taste and has various great properties for your body. 

In this red flavorful leafy food there is calcium and iron, and the Anthocyanin help prevent heart disease, as well as the tryptophan has benefits for the nervous system and helps with insomnia problems.  

Ingredients:

1 radicchio 

Inspired Dukkha topping:

Nuts: Pistachios, pine nuts, almonds

Toasted sesame seeds

Coriander 

Seeds: Cumin, Fennel

Turmeric 

Dried spices: Thyme and marjoram

Salt

Procedure:

Cut the round radicchio in 4 pieces. Use a grilling pan and add a little salt on it. Place the radicchio on it until you see the red getting darker and the leaf softer, then it's ready. 

In the meanwhile add all of the Dukkha ingredient in a food processor and grind everything until everything is in small pieces. 

Put the radicchio in a serving place and add the spice.
