Guilt Free Chocolate Treats

In the winter I tend to want something sweet once in a while, even if I am not a sweet tooth at all. The other day I made these delicious treats that my husband, who is a sweet lover, enjoyed it very much, and gave him lots of energy at work. 

Ingredients:

7-8 dried figs 

1/2 cup of raw cocoa 

1 cup of almond meal 

1/4 of chia seeds 

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/4 cup of maple syrup or raw honey

1 Tbs of water 

1/2 shredded coconut

Preparation: 

In a food blender add all of the ingredients except the shredded coconut. Mix until everything is hard. You will have to use a spoon to push down the mix and let it agglomerate together.

Then with washed hands make medium size balls of the mix and in a plate settle the coconut so you can circle the treat around to cover it with this delicious sweet white "powder" to top it off. Once you have finished everything put them in the fridge for 10-15 to settle and voila it's ready to go!
