Raw or dark chocolate is known to have various long life benefits, as well as keeping your hearth healthy. Here is an article from 2012 to explain more. So why not make delicious recipes from them?
Here is an energy bar that I made last week and was a successful home.
28-30 wafer of cocoa butter (I suggest you to get those online because Whole Foods doesn't have it and other healthy store either)
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 small cup of shredded coconut (optional)
Vanilla extract (optional)
1/2 cup of chia seeds
1/2 cocoa powder
1/4 raw honey
Melt the cocoa butter
Add the coconut oil and honey and stir well
Stir in the cocoa powder with the chia seeds and shredded honey
Add the vanilla extract if you desire and mix well
Put the mixture in a square oven pan and put in the fridge for 2 hours or more
Once is ready cut in squares, put it in a Tupperware and keep it in the fridge or it will melt.
