Chia seeds and apple sauce

For this recipe I used a little help from Dolce senza Zucchero, a great italian website with great sugar free, gluten free and dairy free recipes. 

Chia seeds are loaded with proteins and good fats and will give you a great morning boost. I like my pudding a little solid so the longer you will keep it in the fridge and turn it then more it will solidify. 

Ingredients: 

50g chia seeds 

1/2 lit of milk of your choice (I used hemp milk)

1 cup of nuts of your choice (I used almonds) + keep some on the side to top it 

1 cup of apple sauce

Add some coconut sugar or maple syrup, depending how sweet you like it 

1 tsp of cinnamon 

1 tsp of clove 

Preparation: 

The nigh before cover the seeds with the milk and let it sit outside for 20 min stirring it once in a while, and then put it in the fridge to set.

The morning after mix the apple sauce with the sweetener of your choice and the spices and combine it with the chia seeds pudding. Add the grated nut of your choice and mix together. Let it sit for 10 minute and then serve fresh. You can top it with some apple pieces and nut on top.
